Lug nuts tight, wheel loose?
everytime i let off the clutch i can hear a klunk,or when i brake hard or shift.
not the cv kind of klunk, nothing while turning so i rulled out the axel. So i jack the car up, notice the tierod end boot is ripped to shit, but not the axle. So i grabbed the driverside wheel and i seem to wiggle it a little,(same noise while all above stuff happens) passenger side seems nice and tight no wiggle, just the drivers, so i'm leaning towards the wheel bearing, but before i go and replace it, could possibly the tierod end be the prob?since i noticed the boot was all ripped to shit? i don't thing that would make the wheel wiggle a little when i pull on it, just wanna make sure. |

Re: (butand50)
Found the problem, upper ball joint, when push down on the upper control arm i hear a clunk, plus it seems loose.
Now replacement balljoints are insane prices, does anybody know of a cheap place to pic one up at?, possibly get a universal one? autozone dosne't list just the ball joint, i heard napa has universal ones that will work ,anybody? I'm not about to buy the complete upper control arm. |

Take the upper control arm off and take is to a shop and have them press it.. or press it yourself if you have access.. |

Call up the local parts stores.. or just buy the whole upper control arm.. Now would be a good time to get a good omnipower or skunk 2 front camber kit https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif |
