lost oil galley sleeve(VTEC head) how screwed am i?
 

I cant find it on a parts diagram and afaik mine is gone, there's NO way in hell i'd ever find it I've had the head all over the house and cleaned it so many times. it could have fallen out any where pls help I cant do anything engine wise till I find a solution to this. the head is a JDM ITR head.

am I missing it? I haven't seen the inside of a b series cyl head in almost a year.

i believe it number 23 and 24 u need. i cant tell if the pin missing or not but the o-ring for sure
94301-08100 PIN, DOWEL (8X10)

I have the o ring sorry didn't picture it it was still stuck to the cap so its that dowel I need?. It looked off when I went through the diagram but it makes sense looking again. Thanks man

bump am I in fact missing that sleeve? or have I just forgotten what a b-series head looks like.

thank you for the offer, but its $2 at Honda if it is in fact the thing I need i'll get back and update the thread once I get it.

or wunfstgsr can upload a pic of the pin and see if ur really missing it which may save u a trip. i doubt they would have those pin in stock at a honda dealer. i haven't see under my valve cover for a long time but i assume u should be able to see the difference between the pin and the head?

I looked at some pics online and it does appear I'm missing it as in the pics there is a little bump on that section. and on mine there isn't, all my parts so far I've gotten in a day there's a HUGE Honda plant not far. looking back at the diagram what threw me off was the fact that the line going to it is broken thanks hymn for finding it for me lol.

i think its the same size as the water pump dowels and the cam cap holder dowels from b18/b20 nonvtec heads. i also believe the o ring is the same size as the upper fuel injector o rings. ive certainly rigged it up from some combo of the previously mentioned parts in the past with no issues

vtec wont work with out that lil pos lol but i would just use the correct part instead of using a dowel from something else, the dowl is beveled on the out side i believe to help oil flow. After a 10 mins digging around I found it just lmk

as listed on carland acura's website. the other dowels i mentioned have the same initial number but are 14 and 18mm instead of 10. the same besides that

Thanks for the help everyone it should be here tomorrow!! so i'll be able to get my head assembled and my new VC on.
