lights dim when i turn on air conditioning 2000 integra gsr
hey guys,
Long time lurker, finally decided to join. Anyway, I have a 2000 integra gsr and I noticed last night when I turned on the a/c, the lights got dim in my cluster. Im not new to cars but new to honda. I have several issues with this car but I wanna start with the small ones and work my way up. Any thoughts on what this could be? I'm thinking alternator or maybe a bad ground. So any help with this would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

If the dash lights dim as the idle dips, and do not recover, you may have some grounding, charging or other electrical issues.
If you rev the engine up, do the lights go back to bright?
How are your headlights acting during this?

So the rpms do recover bump maybe 200, lights in dash do recover. Also i dont know if they dim as i am the only one in the garage, i have checked my grounds, they are tight, im curious about the voltage drop on the altenator though. I guess ill call a friend to hold a meter to it and see if i can come up with a result. Ill keep the foeum posted. Thanks for the input though, its appreciated.
