kocking/vibration noise when engaging clutch
I have a 95 gsr je piston eagle rods. motor has run great for about 5000 miles. i just recently had a clutch go out on me. I took it all apart and found out that the pilot bearing was shot and the clutch plate was very warped. the clutch kit is ACT. anyway so i bought a new clutch plate put it in. well my transmission has been making this tick noise for a while so i just bought used transmission. new clutch plate and tranny now. i got the motor running and bleed the clutch. When i go to drive it the motor ticks at idle and i can feel something vibrating in the clutch pedal. also when i engage the clutch to go.. it is bad tick vibration in motor.. but if i am going the tick and vibration kinda goes away.. reverse is horrible.. i engage the clutch in reverse and the ticking/vibration is amplified.. of course if its fully engaged and going the ticking and vibration is dampened.
I know this problem cant be figured out totally by this thread. I know i will have to rip everthing apart AGAIN. but i would just like some feedback. I was thinking what if it was the thrust bearing for my crank... cause when i am fully engaged and going it is fine.. so thought maybe the pressure kinda aligns everything.. i dunno. .any feedback would be great
