I am trying to put in a key-less entry system from eBay, I have looked under the kick panel and I'm trying to find the unlock and lock wires which are black and red and black and white. I've seen other pictures showing them in the plug (picture attached), however when I look in the exact place in my car they aren't there. If anyone could please help that'd be great

The black/white and black/red wires are for USDM cars. If yours isn't, I'm not sure which are the correct ones.

I was thinking that, any idea where I cold find the color codes for my car, I can't find them anywhere on the net, have been looking any all day, if any knew that'd be great

You will have to use a multimeter to find out. Most of the info online are for USDM Acura Integras.

Do test the wires do I just put the positive lead into the connector and ground the black?, Have been trying this and I'm not getting any reading

You have to set the meter to "OHMs" instead of voltage. The value will increase and then drop when you press the unlock and lock buttons (at the door switch).

Black test lead to ground, Red test lead to the appropriate lock/unlock wire.

Will try tomorrow, also for testing I have the correct always on wire (white) and account (yellow), do I use voltage? ,Tried testing today and didn't work, also with the door locks, I heard I have to use the passenger door switch to test is this true?

You have to set to OHMS/resistance, not DC Voltage. From what I recall, yes on the passenger lock/unlock switch.

Also today I unplugged on of the gray connectors and my Central locking stopped working, so does that mean for sure the wires I need are in that connector!, Because today I looked around and found even more plugs at the very back which do contain the black/red wire but can't seem to see the black/white wire however it could be there, so will it be okay to use the gray connector I've Already isolated and need to test with a multi meter

Also when testing using a multi meter does The connector have to be plugged in?, Because it's easier to access with it unplugged

I've seen on some forum posts to use the negative trigger wiring diagram, want to double check that this is correct

Those two high connectors are not the correct wires. The correct plug is lower, about midways in the lower kick panel.

You can stick the test probes into the wire prong. It will read there.

Yes, most Hondas are negative trigger for the doors, Type B Negative trigger. Your picture shows "figure B", which is irrelevant.

So when testing should the connector be plugged in or doesn't matter?

You should have bought a better "alarm system" than that keyless entry setup. From the instructions, it looks like one of those cheap ones that aren't so great. It needs to be plugged in because you are reading resistance,...with power supplied to the door lock module.

Yea it Will do the job and it was cheap, not much need for alarm on my car here in New Zealand any way but who knows maybe Install later when I've finally learnt how to install this

I am currently using the multi meter to test, I'm not getting any reading with my multi meter set to OHms 200k, I used 200k so it would pick up anything under that amount, just wondering if the plug has to be plugged in while testing because again the multi-meter is showing no result

Just tried too hook up the parking lights, turns out the red/black in the green plug is different for my car once again, so whenever I unlocked and lock my car would beep and turn on the radio for a brief moment, like to was in accessory, yet another wire to find without a wiring diagram

You will have to keep using the multimeter to find your wires. Had to do this when I installed an alarm on my old 2001 Civic 4dr sedan. Back then, it did not have any diagrams for it since they changed designs that year. Even Crutchfield didn't have info on the car.

Different markets will use different color codes for certain parts/controls.

Found the parking light using a multi-year and hook them up, also found the unlock wire which is yellow/red by switching the drivers side door in my case which is the Right hand side door and the lock is white/red tried hooking them up using the B diagram from my kit and still didn't work, will give it another try tonight and hopefully should all be working

You need to hook up using FIGURE C diagram. Like I mentioned above, Hondas (along with most imports) are negative door locks.

Sweet okay haha, will try now thanks so much, also my left indicator is not working when unlocking/locking, but when using the indicator while turning its fine, also test for continuity from each wire from the module and said it was all connected so not to sure about that

I was just testing the locks and the power lock doors have stopped working also the entire unit is not turning on anymore, so I think I blew a fuse, any idea on which one?

I'm taking my car to the auto electrician tomorrow because I don't want anymore things to stop working, I was so close to getting this done too, oh well, if you have any ideas on how to solve this issue before I take it to get fixed please let me know

Replaced the fuse so the power lock doors are now working, but the module is still not powering on, do you think I've damaged this?, or is there another fuse that could be blown, (Fuse connecting the battery to the module is fine)

Turns out that fine fuse was blown replaced just in case and now we're back, hopefully should be smooth sailing from here
