integra suspension install help
info on the car: skunk 2 camber kit, skunk 2 coilover sleeves, spring tech shocks. was installed by previous owner.
the new parts waiting to go in: tokico hp blues, and eibach sportlines
problem: im following multiple articles DIY on changing suspension on integra (99 gsr)
im following the article on team integra and do exactly what they do now im running into a problem, I unbolt the brake lines, and the two bolts from the pivot arm (fork) then go up top to the engine bay and unbolt the shock free
now ive done the suspension on my scion and after i got the bolts free the axle and brake rotor would drop to the ground a few inches allowing me to have a lot of room to take out and install the new shocks/spring.
but while working on the gsr suspension, i take all bolts out and im not having the same effects, the suspension isnt dropping and it doesnt even move i have to step on the rotor to push it down so i can have room to take the shock out of the fork, and putting them back in is impossible i have no room at all.
never did a suspension on a gsr before but i followed the article on team integra and im stumped.
thanks

Re: integra suspension install help
separate the strut from the fork. im not exactly sure what your problem is. Just put some ***** into it, sounds like something is just stuck.

Re: integra suspension install help
un do the sway bar end link. the part that is bolted to the control arm. it'll drop then. and to make it a lot more easier, take off the upper control arm to. if i can remember right, its two 14mm(maybe 17mm) nuts next to the shock mounts on the engine bay side.
on another note, why did you down grade on the springs? and not just upgrade the shocks/strut??????
