Integra ls build

Okay so I've been reading the forms here for years but am just now joining. So my goal is 500whp b18b1. Already have arias 8.9:1 nitrous/turbo pistons, Skunk2 alpha rods, Arp head studs, cometic headgasket .061 in. I believe. clevite bearings, walboro 255. p75 with s300. Have ls head with port job and dual springs and retainers on the way. Planning on going with the CNC werks CSS. Gt35r 1000cc injectors not sure on brand yet deff want disc style tho. I guess you could say it's a pretty common build. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated 😁

500HP is do-able but it will need to change up on some of the stuff you have....like the fuel pump.
You will also need:
- upgraded clutch
- quality turbo manifold
- efficient FMIC
- good suspension setup
- quality fuel pressure regulator (nothing mounted on the fuel rail....those are GARBAGE)
- good engine mounts
- GOOD TUNE

Sounds like fun. What fuel will you be using?

Was planning on pump gas with possibly a sno boost system idk yet e85 sounds fun. And I was also planning on an eBay equal length ramhorn. I work at a welding shop so adding braces isn't an issue. Stronger clutch is a given also need to find an lsd. There's a good tuner about 45 mins away who specializes in important so it will be going there for the tune.

Re: Integra ls build

And I thought a 255 maxed out around 600hp?

Do yourself a huge favor and upgrade your suspension and brakes BEFORE boosting your car. Also you’ll want to invest in some good tires.

It may be but it wouldn't hurt to have a larger pump.

Pump gas will make it more difficult to reach your goal, will need a very good tune.

E85 makes it more plausible, but then you definitely need a better pump and bigger injectors. Go with a Walbro 450 and FIC 1650cc injectors.

I already have the 255. As I understand you have to modify the hanger to use a 400

Only reason I wanted to do pump gas is because closest place with e85 is about 45 mins away. Anyone have experience using sno boost?

Damn thats 😎.

Be careful though, I’m sure you’d rather have some socks and leather covering those toes when you drop a short block on them

I see you’re running a Lil breather filter on your pcv valve. I was wanting to do this on my b18a1 but I got some confusing info. Any benefits to it you can speak of from experience?

Re: Integra ls build

What type of strut bar?

Alex Safford 10-17-2018 01:37 AM

Re: Integra ls build

As far as I know the little filters are just for appearance lol. And the strut bar I'm not sure the car came with it.

The benefit is it is a simple way to delete the PCV system when going to forced induction. If not making big HP, it is usually okay venting to atmosphere and you will get little oil vapor. As HP and crankcase pressure increases however, you will need a catchcan.
