hi i have an 94 ls that i recently did a b20b swap...but my car has a problem at when i first turn my car on it started fine and about 5 minutes after driving it i noticed that my rpm needle was jumpy and my car would stall..so at first i thought it was my throttle body cause i had the tps sensor code i replaced the throttle body and car was fine for like 10 min and the problem started again..the next day i changed the igniter and coil from the dizzy that came with the b20 and car was fine drove the car all day and had no problems until the next day the same problem started happening again and my car stalled and would not star.. car started up like 3 hours after that and i drove the car and it was fine then i got the jumpy rpm needle and car stalled. it happens random my car would stall and work fine again after a couple of hours... i used my friends dizzy and car still had the same problem..also i forgot to mension that when i crank it i get smoke coming from my throttle body.. need help can this be a bad ground, an ecu problem????

Re: integra has jumpy rpm needle and stalls
I have the same issue now, except the jumpy needle. Mine runs for about 10 mins then dies. I replaced cap rotor plugs and wires. I even changed the coil and it did it still. Ever get a fix for this?

in my distributor the negitive connection internally some wire was exposed, but i covered it and it is fine from what I can tell. It wasnt cut or nothing, just little of the insulative material was off.

I had a similar issue with my integra when I first bought it, Jumpy needle right before the ICM failed. The service manual says to trace the wires down from the distributor and check for exposed/loose wires.
I believe there is also information on this in the [faq] thread i stickied at the top of the forum
