Terms of Service and Terms of Use
The TOS can be found here:
https://honda-tech.com/announcement.php?f=6&a=10

The TOU can be found here:

These forum rules are in addition to the terms of service.

Your Role as a Forum Member
As a user, this forum is what you make of it. We are here to discuss the technical issues of our cars. We have a list of rules to keep the place productive and conducive to new members. If you see something that violates the rules, click the icon to report it to a moderator so that we can correct it and make this place better for everyone.

Forum Moderators
To find a list of forum moderators, scroll to the bottom of the forum's main page and look at the bottom right. The best way to get rapid communication with a moderator is to click the icon to make a report to the next available forum moderator OR If you need to contact A moderator a complete list of can be found here. Flaming
The moderators in the Integra forum have recently noticed that the amount if flaming has been increasing. Much of this is unwarranted. It is possible to assist others without having a downright rude disposition. Written barbs add nothing to the conversation. If you have nothing constructive to say, do not post.

Let this serve as a warning that we will be cracking down on this flaming. (Trust me, we want to do this as little as possible.) We are not doing this because we enjoy doling discipline. The bottom line is that we want the forum to be more productive and welcoming to those who may not know as much. People should not be afraid to ask questions.

Searching
There is an excellent searching link located here: How to use Honda-tech Search engine Always try to Search before you create a topic.

FAQ
There is a FAQ thread located here: Integra [FAQ] - DIY,Write ups, How to, etc
The FAQ thread covers all three US Integra generations. If you have a question, check the FAQ first. Many common issues have been covered. If you have a good thread that you think should be included, please post the link and the reason the corresponding FAQ thread.

Language Filter
There is a language filter on the site. Moderators have no control over this. If a word is filtered, deal with it and move on. Intentionally misspelling or formatting a word to circumvent the filter will not be tolerated and points will be docked.

For Sale, Want to Buy, and Want to Trade Threads
These threads are not permitted and will be locked, moved, or deleted at the moderators discretion. Points will also be docked. The reason that these threads are not permitted is that the forum would quickly be overrun with them. We have the marketplace, users (no trial users) can post their goods and desired purchases there. You can put a link to these threads in your signature.

There was an official FS, WTB, and WTT thread posted at the top of the forum. It was removed on 20090114 because people could not follow the posting format and include a trivial marketplace link.

Stolen Threads
Unfortunately, Integras are the target for many thieves. If you own one and do not have any security installed, you should consider installing some. If your car is stolen, you can make a thread with the location and details. Please refrain from posting things like "thieves should die", etc. The honest members already feel that way. Hopefully you recover your car in reasonable shape.

Illegal Activities
Promotion or solicitation of illegal activities is prohibited. This includes, street racing, illegal smog inspection, theft, drugs, abandoned car part-outs, etc. We take this seriously.

Bench Racing
Bench racing is defined as predicting the performance of a car or race outcomes based on specifications. Examples are "is my car faster than this car" or "how fast will my car run the 1/4 mile". The answer is go race and find out. Please refrain from doing this on public roadways. We will lock these threads and dock points. Users are permitted to post time slips, lap times, etc. along with their vehicle setup. Do not make posts regarding street racing. We want data, not "I blew the doors off of a Z06... because the Z06 driver didn't know he was racing".

Hi I'm New Threads
We do not have one of these threads. We do have the official picture thread where new members can post pictures of their vehicles. That can serve as your forum introduction.

Picture Threads
There is only one official picture thread stickied at the top of the forum. No other picture threads are allowed. Please read the rules of the picture thread before posting. There are far too many threads asking "how would these wheels look on my car".

It is permissible to post a picture of a car with parts unknown to the OP to ask for identification. If the picture is found in the forum picture thread, IM the poster first for identification.

Build Threads
Build threads are allowed here. However, we want details as to what was done, how it was done, how much it cost, and what were the results. Pure appearance builds belong in the Appearance / Cosmetic Forums .

AppearanceThreads
Do not post solely appearance related threads here. Examples are: which wheels look better on my car, which lip looks better on my car, etc. Use the search function to find a picture of what you seek and make a decision for your car. if you absolutely want cosmetic feedback, use the Appearance / Cosmetic Forums . Have a thick skin because some people have strong opinions.

Official Threads
Official threads shall be initiated only by a moderator or admin. This allows for the first post to establish any thread rules and guidelines. Other official threads will be locked at the moderator's discretion.

Post Whoring
Do not repeatedly post just "x2", emoticons, just a quote, or single word answers to boost your post count. If we notice a pattern of this, we will address the issue.

Off Topic Threads
How many off topic threads need to be directed just to the Integra forum audience? If you have an idea, IM a moderator and ask if it is OK to start the thread. Honda-Tech has General Discussion forums for off topic discussions.

Meets
Meet threads should be posted in the appropriate regional forum. There is a meets thread stickied at the top of the forum where meets can be posted. Follow the rules of that thread.

Polls
Think carefully when making a new poll. There are two types: open and closed polls. Open polls allow voters to make a new choice. Keep in mind that adding ridiculous choices will not be tolerated and that moderators can see who made the choice and who voted for it. More often, a closed poll, where the OP creates the choices, is the best option.
