Installing a head gasket on a gsr

Installing a head gasket on a gsr
I was wondering before i put on the head gasket and bolt it on am i suppsoe to spray on some head gasket on the gasket itself or just bolt it on as is? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just bolt it on, but make sure both the head and block surfaces are clean of any old leftover gasket and any oils, etc.

Well guys I called the dealer and they told me not to put anything on the gasket and just bolt it on and thats what i exactly did. I didn't use any copper spray or anything on the head gasket i just bolted it on as is. Hope everything works out. Thanks for your help.
