iacv removel help!!

iacv removel help!!
ok so im trying to clean it today and i having a problem with the 2 coolant lines that are on the bottem of it, there ******* stuck, any tips on how to remove them, and before you twist and pull, ive been pulling as hard as i can, and the twisting part i cannot do that if there both connected there both being stuck on bitches and wont come over, the screen and the other hole that i need to clean are both extremely dirty and the screen looks like it is clogged, g2ic has been no help what so ever, i posted about this at 10 30 am and nothign . plz help

Or cut the lines right at the bottom of the fitting and remove the cut part with a razor blade. Then reattach with the rest of the hose. You'll lose no more than 1 inch off of the hose. In truth you don't even really need the coolant hoses going to the IACV, you can simply loop them together, or block them off completely. In my last Honda, I ended up just completely eliminating the IACV all together.

i dont think there is enough hose to cut it, i had thought about that when i was under the hood, i just relaly dont want to **** up anything, this is my daily driver and cannot afford to have it down.

i thought about cutting them the other day when i was trying to remove it but i have no jack or jack stands and im not able to see where the 2nd house (drivers side) goes to, i tend to try and replace everything when i get a new car, but egh the iacv is a pain in the ***. if i cut the hoses and reuse the rest of them it doesnt seem as if there is enough to have it bolt back on, would like a metal extension peice be ok to hook up a short peice if i do end up cutting them?
