Use some pliers and pull. Is it unbolted already? Try leaving it bolted on and tugging on the lines

Or cut the lines right at the bottom of the fitting and remove the cut part with a razor blade. Then reattach with the rest of the hose. You'll lose no more than 1 inch off of the hose. In truth you don't even really need the coolant hoses going to the IACV, you can simply loop them together, or block them off completely. In my last Honda, I ended up just completely eliminating the IACV all together.

those hoses are very hard to remove, i just cut mine off and replaced them with a new hose. you can buy the hose by the foot at autozone

i thought about cutting them the other day when i was trying to remove it but i have no jack or jack stands and im not able to see where the 2nd house (drivers side) goes to, i tend to try and replace everything when i get a new car, but egh the iacv is a pain in the ***. if i cut the hoses and reuse the rest of them it doesnt seem as if there is enough to have it bolt back on, would like a metal extension peice be ok to hook up a short peice if i do end up cutting them?
