How a tranny magnet looks after 220,000kms of use

This is from my personal 1994 GSR. I bought it with 160,000kms on it so I don't know of any tranny work done before.

From 170,000kms to 186,000kms I flushed the tranny and used Honda MTF I also changed the clutch at this time. From 186,000kms to 202,000kms I use GM Syncromesh (Not Friction Modified) and more recently from 202,000kms to 220,000kms I used and still have Motul 300V transmission fluid in the tranny At 202,000kms I also added the Spoon tranny magnet.

I had a slight third gear grind that went away when I changed to the syncromesh. With that said my transmission is still notchier than most normal tegs.

Enough of the background info on to the pics

I drained the tranny fluid and saw the shavings on the first pic and decided to dig deeper, since my head was at the machine shop anyways.

Nothings wrong with the tranny really, it still works I have a slight notchiness to the tranny, but nothing awful. Shifts beautifully and when I took the tranny apart the mainshaft and countershaft assembly was extremely clean. The magnet caught everything.

So I just cleaned it up and tonight I'm puting back together https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

for 220+kms it doesn't look too bad, i'd be a little concerns with the size of the flakes i think on your fourth pic i seen a little piece on the top right of the magnet.
