Re: How Often Are Integra's Stolen
It just so happens that my last GSR got stolen not too long after I went to Honda day. I didnt bring my car to Honda day, but I remember shaking some guys hand in appreciation for the good job he had done on his car. Turn outs, when my car got stolen about 3 months later, I saw all my parts being put up for sale on b20vtec by the same guy who I shook hands with at the meet.
You never know when you will encounter these dirty motherf*ckers, but keep a close eye on people and cars that seem to be giving your car more attention than it deserves.

killswitch, alarm, and a springfeild xdm .40 are your best friend. 2 way car alarms are good, once you hear the key fob goin off ya grab ya gun and ya shoot em' in the head.

Kill the fuel pump.
Kill the clutch.
Kill the ECU.
Use one of those sterering wheel things.
If your'e a baller, use GPS tracking somehow. "ive heard"
and there's still a high risk of it getting stolen or at least "broken into".
One of the only reason's I hate owning a teg ='(

I would say it really depends on where you live. I live in a suburb, park it outside all the time, never had any issues (knock on wood). But if i were to drive 25 minutes into the city and park it there it would probably be gone in a matter of days.

Re: How Often Are Integra's Stolen
I made the happy mistake of showing mine off and paid the consequences. When I'm done restoring her she's getting a pretty penny alarm going on her!!! Now I'm just worried about my 06 SI nothing has happened yet and hopefully it doesn't.

Pretty sure they got spooked. The car was left in a suburban area right across the road from several houses. I actually went back there a few months back and took new photos of it and the old man that lives in the house right across from where my car was dumped came out and was saying how he remembered my car and how different it looks. He seemed glad I didn't let the thieves get me down too much.
I've never been very active with meets and my car was almost stock when it was stolen.

Re: How Often Are Integra's Stolen
When I was little and lived in the Bronx, NY, I had an aunt who purchased a brand new accord. Not a civic, not an integra, but an accord. I stayed over at her house the evening she brought it home. Forgot my pokemon cards in there that night. Next morning, I asked my aunt for the keys to go get them, went down the block to where it should have been, but all I saw was an empty space.

people will do dumb things when they are desperate, just make sure you have LOTS of security. luckily for me when i had my teg, my driveway was narrow so i would just park inside and park my moms/dads car behind.

Re: How Often Are Integra's Stolen
Well first off it's winter, so it's starving season. 2nd, jobs are hard as hell to get and 3rd, unemployment just stopped so if you don't have a garage, just expect it.
I've had more break-ins and more stolen stereos than I care to remember.
Honestly I wish I could sell my integra for an RSX. Integras and civics before 2001 were just too damn easy to get into with the soft rubber around the windows.
