Yeah you can but for me. Buying a car that is already kswapped takes the fun out of everything. When you build a car yourself I think you have some added pride when you see all its capabilities.

I got all my stuff from out of state for a good reason. Not trying to knock EPTX but I have seen some of the "Best Work" EPTX has to offer. And sorry to say but I was far from impressed. There is to many people out here just trying to make a buck and not giving any F's about customer relations which in my opinion is what can get you Nationally known. Look up guys like UpRev Engine Managment Solutions, Hybrid Racing, AMR, Chris Miller, and Drive Shaft Shop. Customer relations and product/service quality is how they became what they are today.

My F2B has same specs as a k20... Only cost me $2100 +/- to get it on the road.(smog/ tags/etc)

About $1700+/- to get it running..

Thats whats up. Its a combo that many forget able and few even know about its capabilities. I know I am one of those who know nothing about this combo

ive been researching this myself a lot the last few days. i saw a dyno graph somewhere that overlayed a stock k20a and a b20 vtec with like type r cams/im etc and they were almost identical, right around 190hp and 14x tq. if that is around what your goal is then id say go b20 it will be cheaper.

i did see your other post looking for 250whp (not sure where that came from, its a big number for n/a 91/93 octane on a b series). for that i think k is where you have to go. maybe something like a k24/k20 hybrid or the k24a2 (i think) tsx motor. both with a good size cam and supporting tune/bolt ons

Yeah I relized that 250 was a big number for a pump gas b series so that why I did just like you said a k20/k24 hybrid with valve train and pistons

Hey bro I was wondering if u have done the k20 swap by any chance I'm trying to do it too if u have done can u plz give me an estimate of how much will it cost I have the motor and transmission and I have the shell any suggestions will help thank you

This thread is really old, pricing has changed since then. You should start your own thread with your own goals in mind. K20 swaps are more common now days. All the info you need is on the net.
