How do you paint your new sideskirts, front end etc.......

What do you guys do, to get a nice color on your aftermarket sideskirts, fronts, rears, and etc. Do you get it done professionally? Do you paint it at home, in a "temporary paint booth"? What is the best cost-effective method, to get a nice looking finish, but not totally repainting the car?

Thanks,

Leithen

I would say that you should let the shop do it if that's something that you're not an expert in. If you are good with that stuff, then by all means go for it... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif I personally had the shop do it for me....

Larger items you may want the shop to do that... smaller things like itr lips you can probably get away with a DIY job

in terms of paint. i would never ever DIY. it costed me 60 bucks to get both of my sideskirts painted. and it took them 4 hours. perfectly colormatched. they even sanded down the texture on the skirts. looks stock. wouldnt have it any other way.

any body shop will do it. look around and do some research for a clean shop.

its such an easy job. as long as quality paints are used its easy. take them off and bring them yourself. even macco could do that

What about if you need paint removed, sanded, then primered and painted? The best quote I found in my area was $250-300 and I'm thinking closer to $300 because some companies quoted higher than that.
