this might not be the BEST way but when I did mine i just put a tarp down inside the car, covered everything up real nice and used a hammer. The windshield is held on with some realy thick rubbery adhesive, dont realy know how to get it off without breaking it.

i would think to get a heat gun and heat the shit out of the weather striping adhesive (sp?) that surrounds the windshield.. because thats why your glass is held in place, also i think theres some clips in there somewhere, not sure.. but just strip the surround around the window.. and check, double check, and double check your double check to make sure nothings holding it on.. then you can probably get a toilet plunger and suck it on the glass, then gently pull on it to see if you can get it off..

have you and your friends wear leather work gloves, if you have any so you dont get any slip ups and cut your hands..

hope this helps a bit.. good luck

ahhh, yeah, well that might be a problem then. and yes ther are little clips that hold the trim in place, make shure you gather them up and hang on to em
.and also make shure yo do wear gloves, if it does break it'll cut your hands up REAL fast. Make shure you have anice soft place set aside before hand to set it down that'll not only keep it from chipping but support the curve of the glass. and if all else fails they arent that expensive https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Nice you have to remove the rubber adhesive first start from the top of the window. and work your way down you need a razor and 3m emblem glue remover it will work great. Cut threw the middle of the adhesive all the way down and replace the window and then you will have to go and get some more adhesive from honda dealership you cant find it at any retail store. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

umm yeah on everything you said, only thing is when I did mine I found the addhesive for cheaper than the dealership at ... damn the store with the red white and blue sign, car something or somehting that starts with a C, cant remember now but they only charged me like 14 bucks for a whole tube that woulda done like three jobs, I wasnt worried about busting mine when I did it cause it was totaled, hood flew up at 85 mphwhen the latch spring went out https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif not alotta fun, had to replace it myself in a hotel parking lot in Corpus Christie, ended up having to pay for their blankets too. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif
