I have heard of quite a few people running ctr pistons with no problems on 92 octane. Some people have no problems, others it works fine. 12.0:1 is the highest i would ever go on a street car, thats what im gonna try to get to. In the spring i will have jdm itr pistons in. That will probably give me like 11.4:1.
