Help!! timing belt problem ASAP

I have a LS and puting a turbo on it, i had to take my cams out in the process. My tensioner bolt is stripped and wont move. Even when it does move it feels like its all the way tightened. When i move my crank pully to tighten the belt and make sure it is on all the teeth it skips teeth. I dont know what to do here to get the timing belt tighter. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
THANKS

Cut the head off the tensioner bolt and thread it out.

The tensioner bolt needs to be loosened to tension the belt, and then retightened. You cannot tension the belt with the tensioner bolted down tight.

try the extraction kit from sears. before i knew about it i just welded on a nut and it broke loose like butter. when the bolt is loose, it should move easily with the spring if you push it.

you dont even need a kit if you kno someone with a welder...jus get them to weld on a nut real quick

**soldering works great for stripped nuts that arent torqued in very hard

ya in order to get a good angle to weld at, i had to remove the motor mounts and lower the motor until it cleared the inner fender
