help with rear LCA removal
I'm helping out a buddy of mine install H&R springs on his 95 LS teg. We did the fronts already and are using the stock struts. The rear strut bolt on the LCA are seized. So we are thinking of removing the LCA with the struts & springs still attached on it, and remove the whole assembly from the car. Then we can just install the new springs and keep the original struts. And then install the assembly back on the car. The only thing I'm worried about is snapping the bolts (I think there are 3 or 4 bolts to remove the LCA) when trying to remove the rear LCA from the car. Has anyone ever broken or snapped these bolts to remove the LCA?

Re: help with rear LCA removal (Calsonic)
i snapped my left rear lca, but i didnt care much because i got a good deal on one the next day. I say use PB blaster and a breaker bar and hope it doesn't snap. if you're feeling extra confident, throw a pipe at the end of that breaker bar for more leverage. good luck

Re: (altspace22)
I did a search and most of the topics were talking about the LCA bolts connecting to the rear strut. I am keeping the LCA strut bolt in place and not deal with it. I'd rather remove the whole lower control arm.
