I was in the process of reassembling my B18c1 head when I completely messed up the dowel pins on the cam holder plates. Not the actual "cam holders" just the plates that run inline with the cams. The general rule of thumb is to never use cam caps from a different head. What if I was just going to use the plates from another head? Would that mess anything up?

you should be ok with the plates my C1 is a 94 but had to get new caps all i could find was 98 ones still working fine to this day. 2500+km's never had an issue

would anyone know if the cam holder plates are the same for all b-series vtec motors?
