gauge needles, searched.
Hey my buddy has a 01 Integra GS and decided to change the bulbs for his gauges. He then decided to take the needles off (bad mistake) and remove the red so the needles were clear. He did not remeber where everything was so now there all buggered. He was pissing around with them and turning them, which i knew would bring trouble.
I searched through and found some things to "recalibrate needle" and found a couple things to try. We tried them with no luck. We warmed up the car and half *** put the RPM needle back where it was. The Gas shouldn't be bad he just has to fill the car and then place the needle in the "full" position (correct me if this won't work). I'm not sure on how accurate the Temperature guage is right now. The Spedo doesnt do much....
Anyone have any idea or is he hooped? I phoned honda and they said they can recalibrate it but wont know till when and the price till Tuesday (monday's a holiday).
Any ideas would be appreciated, and this would be to fix all the gauges.

With the ignition switch in the IG position, place the tach and speedo needles right on top of that stop pin at 0. If the car is cold, place the needle where it would be slightly before C, then place the fuel needle where his gas level is.

Ok try that and see if it works.. I wasn't too worried on the Temperature and Gas gauge..
When you mean IG position you mean the last position before you turn the car over?? sorry to sound stupid...
EDIT- also did you mean to place the needle directly on top of the black stopper or to place it above it?

Yeah we tried it with no luck... everything seems fine but the Spedo...
It seems like the spring is screwed up or something like it needs to be winded up. Maybe broken? I dont know... Any other ideas? We might just have to wait and see what Honda says about it..
Thanks for helping BlueIntegraBoy.
