I'd vote the Integra, everything about it is just beautiful, the body lines, the way the dash looks and just fits in so nicely, not to mention the DOHC motor opposed to the hatch with the SOHC...

You'll have way more work ahead of you if you go with the Civic. That is, if you are planning to build it for racing or other motorsports. Not to say that it has less potential, you'll just have more work to get the same results out of the anemic d-series engine.

Since the civic weighs less it has more potential for speed BUT its going to be much more expensive in the long run. Not to mention '96 hatches are fugly. Youre going to need a '99-00 front ASAP lol.
Why not try getting a gsr? The integra imo looks much better, starts out with a better motor, has power options and ABS, disc brakes all around, etc. Stock for stock the integra is a MUCH better car than any CX hatch.

Re: (posHonda)
imo i lkie the vic better but i got tired of building them n looking 4 teg or si parts just to put in it. ie. engine, brakes. so i just bought a teg that way i eliminate all the other stuff.

Either one is great for a project car. Me myself i went with my DC,my first build was a 91 si hatch and it was fun but i wanted something a little newer. But whatever you go with will be fun either way...
