So i failed my smog test. Here are the results

15 mph: HC MAX 90 MEAS 99 CO MAX .54 MEAS .16 NO) MAX 711 meas 209 FAIL

25 mph: HC MAX 54 MEAS 56 CO MAX .53 MEAS .06 NO MAX 754 meas 76 PASS


The car is a 94 gsr bone stock except possibly CTR cam gears, not sure though. I just changed the spark plugs, could the gap possibly be wrong? I did not hear any knock.

Also, I just put the stock header on and I forgot the donut gasket on it. The exhaust is not loud at all and i do not smell anything funny. Could this have caused me to fail?

i got a state ref ticket was forced to smog my car with california highway patrol... first time i failed i got a new cat after that i failed again... i carbon cleaned which you can just sea-foam your car ... failed again... then i changed my oil, my oxygen sensors and theres a chemical i bought from autozone called Garanteed To Pass... the product says that you are garanteed to pass or double your money back.... you put it a full tank of gas.. after you drive and empty your tank your supposed to re-fuel then go test.... i took my smog with a cold-air and header....hope my headache will help you out

i failed my etest then i used the guarntee to pass, and it worked.

bump.. just changed the plug wires and failed the 15 mph even worse. 110 HC
