Exhaust upgrade any suggestions?
ok so in 2 weeks im going to be putting an exhaust system in my 97 ls.... im not sure what i want.. i like the sound of the 5zigen and the greddy... but they arent really loud like id want them.. .any suggestions?

I got the Apexi WSII, I love the sound even without the cat, I also like my friends Buddy Club Spec 3 exhaust, nice mean deep and throaty sickk sound..

anyone know if there is a way to hear some of the exhaust sounds? i know like magna flow has previews and whatnot

I would have to disagree. The N1 is probably the loudest 60mm production exhaust I have ever heard besides the Skunk2, which is essentially the same thing.

Keep a cat on there. No reason to further pollute the environment with a street driven car that won't benefit from it. Plus the smell alone should be enough to keep it on.

get whatever exhaust you want, and then remove the cat in favor of a test pipe... if i was you, i would get the 5zigen fireball catback system

my friend has a 5zigen.. i liked the sound but it wasnt loud enough for my liking... he suggested taking a piece of the pipe off... im not sure what it was called... i was looking into flowmaster, but they dont sell a catback for my year teg. so il have to go with greddy or 5zigen.
