do OEM brake pads give off A LOT of dust?
 
when i bought my car, the pads WERE NOT oem. i was wondering OEM Brake pads dust up a lot. i did a search, and did not find HELPFUL information. TIA

They dust a little because all brake pads do, but compared to say, an Axxis Ulitimate pad, they hardly dust at all. Hope that helps!

do OEM dust less than all of the pads out there do you think?

i never had that much dust wit oem pads on both tha hondas ive had, sumtimes the fronts get the rims dirty but its nuthin soap and water wont fix

oem pads should dust the least. I had some Endless pads up front for a while and they were dusty as hell. By the middle of the week my bronze rims were black. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif I have changed over to Hawks up front. They have a longer life and alot less dust. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

I'd agree with everyone else and say that OEM pads don't dust that much.

On the other, stay away from Bendix IQ pads. Not only do they dust a lot, but the dust is a reddish color.
