Hi guys I just registered to this site so I'm a newbie but I'm not a newbie to the car world but I have some decisions I need advice on. I was given a 97 teg 2dr LS with 233k miles. I know sweet ride right AND low miles for a teg??? But the downside is this car has an AUTOMATIC tranny I was deciding if I should sell the car and go for a stick GSR or just try and go for a stock prelude but tthat's kinda rare in my area, or a different car like a DC5? Or should I just keep my car and continue to mod it. All ove done is keep the car up and put HIDS, a short ram intake(which sounds smexy) and royal purple oil changes. Advice peeps? Thanks.

Do what you want.

just do a Auto to Manual swap.
after that is all going good and runs nice and sweet.
then do a GS-R Swap.

as for 233K being low miles it's NOT. The auto market rates Normal milage at 10K a year so you should have 150K or les to call it LOW milage.

my 91 only has 160K on it and my buddies 92 has 175K. Now thats low milage.

My bad I totally meant 133k lol. That was a bad typo. How much would it even cost for the manny trans swap and to put a vtec in it? I take good care of it as well.

Cost of parts if you do it yourself.

For VTEC, look into a LS/VTEC set-up since that is what you are looking to do.
