darn acura radiators......
I replace my 94 Integra radiator about 2 months ago, cause the plastic tank was leaking. Bought one off the internet and deliever next day. There wasn't anything leaking until now. The metal part where the transmission (auto) fluid goes into the radiator is leaking out fluid slowly. It's getting worst and worst now. Do you guys think there is a way to seal that leak? i don't really wanted to replace the radiator again.......
PLEASE HELP !!!!

Go check auto zone or some place like that. I think there is a product called Copper seal ? I am pretty sure there are products meant for the radiatior to stop leaks. No guarantee that they will work for you or how long they will last, but I guess it's up to you to try one out.
Good luck!

Don't cheap it out, replace the radiator. I will never use stop leak products on my car. I've seen them used in the radiator and power steering! from customer's cars and it tends to crap out the system.

Well, this radiator is new, about 2 months old. I was just thinking when we put that metal part into the radiator for the transmission fluid, its either not tight or came loose. If it is loose, i was wondering if i can use some telfon tape to get a tight seal.
Any suggestions?

Just curious...where did you purchase the radiator ? Did they offer any kind of warranty with it ?
I am just asking, I do not know for certain. My rad. started to go, and I just replaced it w/ a fluidyne unit. No problems since.

JB weld it. save yourself some cash until you can get a new one, or goto http://www.car-part.com and get one second hand for cheap.

Re: darn acura radiators...... (94IntegraNL)
Well, i haven't had time to look at it yet, but i have to do it soon.(if not the dame snow storm again in boston) If it is cracked, i will get another one. But if it's really that connection, i might try something to seal it. Thanks for all the advise.

You didn't mention if it was coolant or power steering fluid, so I'll assume it power steering fluid.. You can try teflon tape, but none of the cars I've worked on have ever needed it. Is it possible the sealing flange on the pipe where the fitting presses against it is damaged?
