That is probably the riser not pushing the rear of the sunroof up enough to seal that gap.

Well, I think its about that time for the Acura. See that white stuff? Ugh...snow.

I was going to hold off until they actually start throwing down that salt brine crap, but this popped up on my app this morning.

So i'll play it by ear, but i think the car is going into hibernation mode this weekend and after Thanksgiving i'll start tearing into the car for the winter work.

Also hit a new mileage milestone just yesterday.

Absolutely. I just saw a 90% chance of sleet and snow here on Thursday, looks like I'm doing my snow tires tonight while the fiancee is out of town.

Nice picture of the teg! Any update on the primary O2 sensor issue or getting a new cabin harness? Any possibility of getting a new one from Honda or has it been discontinued?

I think i saw can get a new one from Honda, i just cant afford the big coin to drop on it right now I want to say it was around $800? Yesterday I talked to the guy who is pulling the uncut harness from a GSR for me. He said he should have it pulled by the weekend and he'll ship it out after we come to a good price and i see some pictures of it. then i can add that to my to do list and hopefully that is the end of it.

I just removed the whole harness from a chopped up DC2 type r we have, you're in for a lot of work. Definitely not a pleasant job.

Will a RHD harness fit a LHD car?

It should. I would assume you'd probably have to de-loom a few sections here and there to make things go the proper direction. We've done it with EK engine harnesses, but never a chassis harness.

Why you need the cabin harness?

I’m 99% sure that is where my issue is. I think my harness was beyond a repair job like I did. Because sometimes the car was ok, other times it threw the code, and I found that if I played with the harness down by the ecu plugs it would affect how the car was running. So I’m pretty sure I had a break down there somewhere.

I’m definitely not using them to their fullest potential with the gsr intake manifold or the now stock tune, but I love them. It’s funny, they are much more “lively “ now with the vafc2 removed. It really makes me question the tune that was on the car from back in the day.

Sounds like it was a **** tune lol. I'll be using them with a skunk2 Mani and JDM p73, hoping it'll be a nice bump in power

i was originally going to upgrade my intake manifold, but i like the lower and midrange the stock intake manifold gives. i spend most of my time under 6000 rpm anyway lol. the company that tuned my car back in something like 2005 or 2006 has long since been out of business. to be fair, i only gave them a piggy back system to work with lol.
