DA Integra Suspension options

DA Integra Suspension options
Hi, I'm new here.
I'm thinking about getting a DA integra coupe, and was wondering what my options are when it comes to suspensions.
I want something that handles well in twisty roads, can handle potholes without jittering the whole car and driver, and is a good overall daily driving setup that also can be driven with extreme fury from time to time. I'm not looking for a 1/4 mile drag setup.
Does the DA share anything with the DC2 and would the stock OE ITR 5 lug suspension work on a DA? It needs to be practical and perform well, and I would be willing to pay for the best setup.
Does the DA even have a double wishbone setup front and rear like a DC2?
Also, does Spoon or Mugen have anything for this car, or is has it been overlooked by them?

Search koni yellows.
DAs and DCs are basically the same suspension-wise. Double wish-bone. One small difference is the DC has different forks up front. You could use suspension for DCs on a DA as long as you switch the front forks for the DC counter-part and bolt it up to the DA.
The ITR 5-lug suspension can be bolted up to the DA with all the proper components.
also
Try looking up the EF civic when you want to add spoon parts to your DA. EF civics and DAs are almost the same car chassis wise so any spoon parts for that car will work for DAs most likely. EFs though have actually been modded by Spoon themselves. Mugen makes a whole body kit for the DA but it'll be hard to find. This car was kinda over-looked as you put it when it comes to Spoon and Mugen specific parts but you can get parts off other cars to fit with alittle custom fabrication. Goodluck!

Re: DA Integra Suspension options (1200 Hobos)
when i put dc suspension on all i had to do was change out the front forks the rear lower control arms were fine. and the 5 lug would be like converting any four lug to it. just follow the process.
i've only heard bad things about k sports but i personal don't have any experience with them. so i dunno. i've heard a lot of good things about form and functions except for the fact that they drop your car a lot. but doesn't everyone want a good handling dumped car anyways?

Yeah I got the f&f type II's on my da and they did drop it a pretty good amount, but it seemed perfect. I got 16's with a 215/45 and no rubbing and the fender is flush with the top of the tire. And those coilovers handle the turns really well.

i have the Tein basic damper full coilover on my DA and it handles very well. But i could still tell i got a little bit of body roll. Ill need to get a thicker sway bar. lower control arms. Camber kits and probably a Subframe brace. It will be great if you look into a setup like that. Maybe just some different struts

i think those are alittle over board unless you're car is a track car. i got ground controls and illuminas, and they're perfect for me. my car is mainly a dd but it sees the course every now and then. oh yeah and the occasional twisty road when it's dry.
