Funny I came across this and decided to register

I have a DC2 with a D16Z6

I guess 2 owners ago it blew the B18C1 in it

Only a few problems with it
Has either worn out motor mounts + lower motor mount doesnt line up with all the bolt holes.. its only bolted in one s pot

and it grinds 3rd so bad that most of the time that i skip it.. Which makes me slower than a prius from a stoplight

I knew all of this stuff when i bought it its my winter beater, i have an FG2 for summer. Yes you read correctly i store a honda, salt ruins cars!

Too much info.

Some of these people can get your info from that plate and especially that VIN, and that car will be GONE.

You'll notice that in MOST pics, plates are blurred out, and if the actual VIN is on a pic, they blur out anything after 6 digit, all you need is JH4DC2, to show it's a GSR. So you should take em off, and edit.

Better yet a D15Z1, then he'd be gettin some serious miles per gallon. All these idiots are only thinking about making the car faster, when some people might actually want a more luxurious car that gets 50mpg.

Or someone who doesn't look at the date and post in a 3 year old thread. LOL

Always wanted a D-Series DC for some reason. But after owning an 01' GSR I don't think I could ever do anything less then a GSR in an Integra again.

The Integra is no luxury car. Civics are just as "luxurious."

I don't see the B16A as an upgrade over the B18B1, so it's definitely a downgrade from the B18C1.

I threw mine in cause when I bought it, there was an oil burning d15b7 in it, burnt about a quart every 100 miles, and I bought the d16 for $200 pretty peppy motor

So you swapped in a shitty motor because the previous owner had swapped in a shitty motor?

He probably thought 2 wrongs would make a right.

I swapped it in cause it was cheap, and I had all the parts since the previous motor in it was a d15, otherwise id have to either buy a b16 or b18 and Id have to buy the whole swap
