although i've seen it done online before, i've never understood the reasoning behind throwing in a sohc motor in an integra; why not just buy a sohc civic to begin with?

What integra are you putting this z6 into? 86-89, 90-93, or 94-01?

It's a bad idea if your trying to swap a DC 94-01 to a D series.

Are you guys serious ?

The JDM DC integra came with the optional 4WD Single. Search it up if you don't believe me.

And if you guys think it's such a downgrade. Someone here in HT has a D16Z6 in a DC2 shell and running faster than most GSR's and LS's haha.

the sohc 4wd integra wasn't exactly built for performance either. as for a sohc motor being faster than dohc motors, it doesn't take much. my buddy was running 14.0 in his sohc civic with a ebay turbo kit. reliable or long lasting? probably not (he barely ever drove the car), but it definitely was faster than my gsr. that doesn't mean ****. i'd never put a sohc motor in a dc.

I remember seeing pictures of a DC with a D-series in it, but it was because he bought it w/o an engine and just wanted to get it home.

d15b is the same as a d16z6.
and yes there is a dc1 with the single stock
also u dont need anything special to do it
just need everything from a civic.
no modifications at all.
on a plus side u get great gas milage.
