Clutch Problem ... slipping???
 

Ok i have noticed in about the past 1 month or so my car has felt increasingly slower...
I think it my clutch because it has become really easy to like rev match and i allso noticed i can go in 1st gear without giving it any gas(a friend told me to try this)

Is it my clutch and if so what is a good replacement clutch that is just a little stronger than stock

does seem like a clutch problem, try bleeding the clutch, maybe there is air thru the line? when was the last clutch replaced?

If its your clutch I reccommend Exedy racing clutch stage 1

if you can go in first with out giving gas...this is good. When you go in gear, accelerated and your rpm goes up but your speed is not increasing...this is bad and clutch is slipping. Go in 2nd or 3rd and WOT that bitch and see if it is slipping.

Although 133k seems a bit high for a clutch, before my swap, the d series with 233k with original clutch https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmileo.gif

any other way to tell that sounds like it will cause more damage...

i need my car to run for about another week then i can get a clutch and install it

If you think the problem lies within the clutch, just go ahead and install a new one. It is a good tuneup for a car with 133k.

Just giving you a headsup that if you aren't going to do alot of racing...go on ebay and search for an exedy oem replacement for your car ~120 bucks. If you wanna upgrade to a better than oem, one exedy stage one organic is great ~230. I have and it holds good. Alot of guys on honda-tech are sporting them and i m hearing good things.

With your car being slower..it could be alot of things if not your clutch. Losing compression, dirtly sparks plugs, valve adjustment..just to name a few.

Get a new clutch and flywheel. Should solve your problems. Wont make your car faster, but should make driving your car a little bit more fun.

ya i checked my compression and it is the same as it was the last time i checked it. and i checked all the other things too...

do i really need to get a new flywheel... im trying to do this for as little as possible without buying shit

No you don't...it's kindy nice and safe to resuface your old flywheel though.

it's usually pretty easy to tell if your clutch is slipping or not, if you floor the gas and the rpms rise up really fast but your speed does not increase than the clutch is slipping. It is hard to tell from your post if that is what is happening. You just said that your car is getting increasingly slower.....
