Clutch engages and disengages VERY low....
96 GSR - hydraulic clutch.
Just put in a brand new pressure plate, full face clutch disc w/ 6 springs, throw out bearing, master clutch cylinder and slave clutch cylinder.
Everything works, but the clutch pedal itself sits about an inch lower than the gas and brake pedal and only has about 1 - 2" of total travel. It seems to cleanly engage / disengage and it shifts from gear to gear fine while driving. I can't pull the clutch pedal any further out even if I wanted to and after about 2" the pedal hits the floor.
Either way, it doesn't feel right - and quite frankly I don't like how it feels.
Is this normal? What can I change or what did I do wrong?
