Default Question about coil overs!!!

Do coil overs replace ur shocks or do u have to get shocks aswell. Im thinking about getting the tein coilovers. I have a 99 teg ls. I was also wondering how good are ground control coilovers??? thx

GC are not a true coilover. Notice the difference in price. Real coilovers start at 800 dollars and up. Do your research before such a large investment.

what do u mean not TRUE coilovers? do the true coilovers replace ur shocks or do i have to get shocks aswell???

True coilovers are basically the full setup. Meaning it comes with shocks, coilover perch, and springs. So if you get a TRUE coilover setup (e.g. Tein, Zeal, etc.) you will not need shocks. If you get coilovers like skunk2, or GCs, those are just coilover sleeves with springs, and you will have to get shocks SEPERATELY from those. Difference between true coilover setup, and getting them seperately? Many cases it's preference, but what I've heard is if you get GCs or skunk2 coilover and shocks seperately, they make a lot of noise or something..hope this helps...

I have B & G coilovers, a swedish company, they ride so nice. cost $1350 though
