Clock and Radio not working after ECU reset...
Hopefully someone can help me on this one. I just did a ECU reset today by pulling the 7.5 backup fuse and after putting in back in and starting up, My dash clock and radio is not working. Checked all interior and underhood fuses there fine, pulled the radio and its fuse is good even switched the dash clock with a spare I had and its still doesnt work. Seems like just the radio and the clock are not getting power for some reason. Everything else on the car seems to work fine.

Re: Clock and Radio not working after ECU reset... (Monkeydias)
awww......nevermind. I pulled the ecu backup fuse and noticed a very tiny break in it, must have blown it when I reinserted it. Replaced it with a new one and everything is fine now. Hmmm what exactly does the ecu backup fuse do? I know it wipes the ecu and clock and all the radio settings but you still can start the car and it will run fine, Im guessing that if the backup fuse is blown that the ecu wouldnt hold any of its settings when u turn the car off.
