Chewed up Transmission dipstick
I just bought my daughter a 1994 Integra, and noticed that the dipstick for the transmission fluid is all chewed up... took it to a mechanic and he said that this is a problem notorious with Honda/Acura's. Explained that this is a sign that some nut in the pan (or transmission?) is loose, and if not tightened, it can come off and can make the transmission explode (I don't know if that is literal?). Is this true? Help? Do I have this fixed or forget it??? T
