Default check it out...bought a DB2 GSR....(56k sucks...)

so i have been wanting a 92-93 GSR for some time now, been looking, but its a little hard to find a car they only made like 5000 of over 2 years...

well on one of the Integra forums i posted a WTB and someone hooked me up with an email addy of a 92 GSR...

some pics:

this is how the day started ;D

how you know its a GSR? well its got VTEC...not just a DOHC

**** the police....famous last words...WA state i think no front plate is $101 ticket... btw i want to buy the little filler pieces that goes in the plate holes (Aztec Green of course) if you know someone

another sign its a GSR...

8000 redline tach...works good too

talk about unmolested...

anyway its a 1992 Integra GSR 1.7L DOHC VTEC... 149,xxx on the clock... im the second owner... all mantince records (dealer seviced)... the sexy Aztec Green paint...

like i said its 100% stock, ****** thing has the stock radio! before anyone asks the plans are: 15" Rota C8's, one piece JDM headlights, Tein lowering springs, and K&N filter... this will be my daily driver for a while, so no turbo yet....

nice pic up! its so hard to find a unmolested mint GS-R.

IMO, save yourself some money. Instead of the Rota's, get nice BuddyClubs in gunmetal or white. Its an original whel design and it looks good too.

edit: here is a pic of the wheels I am talking about.

think thats 3500 in the pic...3900 + tax/registration was the total...

15" Rota C8's Royal Bronze, Dunlop FM901's, K&N filter, Tein STech springs, and the licence plate hole fillers have been ordered....
already on the car: DC2 GSR leather shift ****, and cheap *** Jensen MP3 player

i have a set of black 16" Konig Traffik's for my other car, they look like those Buddy Club's... might throw them on for *****'n'giggles...

i got a pretty stock grs too but it's a 95 with 140,000 miles on it. what was bad about it was i ended up paying more then what the original asking price was. i guess the guy knew i wanted it bad so he said he got someone else bidding against me. when all was said and done i payed 5600 for it (was listed on carsoup for 5500). it is dam worth it though if you ask me. totally stock with all maintenance record performed at the dealer. even oil changes. just goes to show you what kind of guy he was. i'm almost sure he didn't know what happens when you take the rpm close and to redline. i think i got lucky with this one.

Very nice find. Are Honda's/ Acura's the only engines where 140K seems to be just fine and considered just slightly broken in. lol

BTW, my 92 RS has 274K miles and still haulin.....no smoke, no oil usage.

She was im guessing early 40s? someone sent me her email that they found on a microsoft webforum or something, so she made good money and just loved this car. she had it seviced every time it needed it (the factory intervals) had whatever work that needed done, done. she said everytime they would give her a loner car, and said she just wasnt fellin the new Acura's that where coming out, they didnt top her GSR. so she kept it alive... now she is moving to the desert somewhere (AZ/NM/NV or somethign) and doesnt want it to die in the desert. luckly i bought it, and will love it just as much as she does...

btw its at 149,995 on the clock tonight....it will turn 150k tomarrow on the drive to work
