Icon2 oil level and bad mpg

so on a earlier post i wrote i was getting bad mpg..
so i went and replaced the valve gasket that was leaking and also replace the new cat an now there is no more check engine light..
however it is still leaking oil under the distributor right by where the engine block number is and i have no clue what it could be?
distribuuter o ring?
also when purchased the car there was a box that had the old oil pump and the new box said b20? could that also be a problem if it was the wrong oil pump?

hose it down with brake clean, run it, and watch where it comes from. use a mirror if you have to

should i get the blox cam seal or what would be best because that explains the oil because it only drips exactly where the engine block number is

but what explains the terrible mpgs i replaced the cat and the check engine light is gone but still crappy mpg why? i dont run the crap out of my car its just a dd and nothing more

You could be running really rich. How much spark are you getting? Could be that, check your fuel system too. As far as the cam seal, Blox is crap. Go with Golden Eagle and you will never have to change it again. The distributor O-ring is probably leaking too.

Reset the ECU, Either by pulling the ECU 10a and back up 7.5a fuses or just disconnect the negative terminal for a few mins. Start the car from cold and let it idle for 15 mins with out touching the gas pedal or anything on, turn the car off and it should have a good baseline.
Make sure your plug wires and plugs are in good condition, check your air filter, and check your timing.

correct me if im wrong please but from my understanding, when there is an oil leak obviously there is a loss of oil pressure forcing the motor to work harder therefore using more fuel..
