Default Boosting my 95 gsr

I have a few questions, I’m boosting my freshly built gsr motor, 5k miles on motor... acl race bearings stock valve train, itr pistons and rods honed and stock bore, milled deck...

question 1: I’ve heard stock blocks are good for 300 whp is this true even with itr pistons and rods bumping compression?

question 2: the turbo I have is an internal wastegate what’s the easiest way to switch to external? It’s on an 8lb spring I think so where would that put me with a .63 ar turbo

Post this in the Forced Induction threads. Stock block is good for about 3 to 400 HP but depends on how much you abuse it. You still have a stock engine so remember use ARP head studs, and stay with the stock redline.
