Im assuming that the install for this intake manifold on the GSR will be the same for an EG hatch? Im gonna be installing mine pretty soon and Im about to head out for some parts.

Do you mean a B18C1 in a hatch? If so, then it should be pretty much the same I would think. The air intake might be a little different though. I would expect the fuel lines, etc. to be in the same locations.

Yeah its a JDM B18C but its basically the USDM version with more hp. I just went to the Acura dealership and bought an ITR throttle cable and bracket and the gaskets that are needed. Now I need to locate the tb pulley and spring. I had one of those buts its gone now.

Try and find a round pulley, not a ear-shaped pulley. That way you don't have to worry about adjusting that non-adjustable screw. It can be a real pain getting it just right.

What does the stock GSR tb pulley look like? My car isnt in my possesion right now its at the body shop. Can I just use that I thought it was round if my memory serves me correctly.

This is how the throttle cable is going to be situated with the ITR cable and bracket:

The stock one pulls has the cable pulling it upwards. That's why the stock pulley won't work with a ITR cable.

Well I was in the process of finishing my blox intake mani install up and I started the car up. What do you know high idle at about 2000 rpms. I have tried a few different things to make it go down and nothing. I can blip the throttle and it will idle down for a split second and then right back to anywhere from 1600-2000 rpms. I knew this would happen before I even started this swap of manifolds. Anyone else had this problem yet and if so what did you do to solve the problem?

hey whats up man. Awsome write up, but i did not do my installation the right way. I installed it the right way i believe? but my car won't rev past 3k. i threw the old one back on assumming that stuff would go back to normal but i still had the same problem. now your probably wondering if half-assed anything, and yes i did. THe top six studs i kept in because i could not find a place to get them. another thing that confused me was that my car only had 5 plugs and 6 sensors. I think the plug missing is the one for the black vaccum box under the intake manifold due to the fact that i might have a 93 si wiring harness. another think that i forgot to mention is im installing the skunk2, but it looks the same exact thing as yours so everything should be the same. ANYONE"S HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANK YOU!!

instead of spacing out your fuel filter, just run it over the top of the intake pipe
that what i did

This was answered in the witeup.. Thats why the ECU was swapped for a p28.

On a sidenote...

Ive heard of the blox from other posts on here, but specifically I have a few questions.

Is this strictly a NA application? or would it not be worth it on a boosted motor?

also what are the gains on a NA application like shown above?

Any local auto parts store should be able to get them for you. The first place I stopped (local place) had them for me.

That still looks too tight for my liking though. It doesn't look like there's any play at all in that hose and it could snap over time from sthe tress on it.

No one can answer my simple question?
