Why did you use P30 gasket? If you have a GSR throttle body why not use a gsr throttle body # 16176-p2T-004 gasket? I noticed that putting the gasket against the manifold only one cut-out get used i belive its the coolant but what about the other 2 cut-outs? should i take it back and get the P30 gasket?

16176-P30-004 is the stock TB gasket for the GSR -

thats strange, i just picked up my throttle body gasket from Crown Acura and the part number is different. 16176-p2T-004 is the number on the gasket for 96 integra maybe its different for 95? I allways thought 94-01 gsr manifolds/throttle body are the same.... i just recieved a b16a and gsr blox which are nice looking manis... i mention the cutouts on the gasket (2 sqaureish cut-outs and one slot). on the blox there is only one squareish channel guessing its for the coolant. Are blox manis different from obd1 to obd2?

I heard from someone else that the evap purge valve will chatter under normal operation. I'll take their word for it. I relocated the unit and used one of the bolt holes to fasten it to the IAC. It was a quick fix. If anyone decides to mount the solenoid to the firewall, the operational "chattering" sound will be amplified without insulation of some sort.

I'll post a picture tomorrow of the throttle cable.

The hardest part was getting it to align without chaffing the cable Eventually I got it centered..

If you can make out where the cable is...

Unhook the bypass solenoid and you won't get a code.

i was installing this yesterday, now on the manifolds for the coolant there's only one port on the gsr mani and two ports on the blox it forks out, what do i do with the smaller port? do i just cap it off?

And the black box IAB? anyways there was one tube that use to plug up to the crushed can for the butterfly did you plug that up aswell? i see in the picture that you connected the FPR straight to the manifold as to before it was connected along with the black box, was wondering if you deleted the box under the manifold.

For the coolant, you must have a 96+ GSR I'm guessing. You might want to search but alot of guys plug that hole or better yet, reroute it to another line.

Yea, I just totally took out that black box and then ran new vacuum tubing as in the instructions.

nice info, and yes i'm doing this install on a 96jdm b18c using p72obd1ecu, this is in a eg si . The extra port thru me off when i was looking at it. And about deleting the IAB for the butterflies do you not get a cel for no IAB? since im using my stock si harness i won't have a plug for it (IAB) but will have one for the evap purge solenoid which i can salvage from the sohc mani. plus i want to get rid of stock int/mani support bracket but the heater bypass pipe is attached to it can, i remove both of these items?

I've been searching for some info but didnt get the info i needed. even searched under skunk manis since there about the same still no luck... thanks for the help since i knoe i should be in the hybrid forums....

Take that vacuum canister and chunk it. All it does is operate the bypass butterflies. And once again, as for the year 98, no mil as of yet with the IAB unplugged.

I plugged the extra water port since I didn't need it. As for the heater bypass, you can delete it and run a hose from the core to the block to make it neat and simple.

I'll have to say the biggest hassle of this project was tying and bundling wires so they wont chaff and the ends don't get yanked off. Go buy yourself some adel clamps of various sizes to save some trouble.

Use your imagination. If it needs vacuum, give it vacuum. If it need's water, give it water (just put it in the right place). The Blox manifold doesn't have enough vacuum ports, so you'll probably need to put a tee in there somewhere.

The evap mounting has worked well if you can make it out in the picture. No modding involved except bending the bracket a little. Learn form my mistake and don't put it on the firewall unless your car is obnoxiously loud.

...You mean the Blox comes with instructions? I got jipped!

The blox doesn't come with any instructions, that why you don't see it on riced up cars.

The studs are on the block. You use all of the OEM bolts/parts for the most part.

I got the nuts and studs from a local auto parts store. They were like a buck each for the studs, cheaper for the bolts.
