oil leak from corner on the head by block stamp on 94 gsr
this is the only place oil leaks and it leaks a fair bit. it's coming from the corner just above the block stamp it's getting worse it seams. engine has solid 220-230 comp across all 4cyl and no white smoke or any signs that the HG is blown. head will be coming off for some work in the spring(cams/springs install)

It is still most likely a HG problem, just not leaking into a cylinder, possibly a warped head or block.
Are you sure the oil is comming from between the head and block and not from above?
To confirm, use degreaser to clean the area and above real good, start the engine and eyeball the area untill you see the oil and pinpoint the leaks location .94

most common areas of leaking where you describe are the vtec solenoid and distributor. they both can leak down and appear that it's the head when it really is not.
if it is the head. which is rare but possible, and you have solid compression it's probably just a pain until you can do your planned work in the spring
loctite makes an anerobic sealant that people often use on the MLS gaskets to prevent any oil seepage
if you do resurface the head make sure the machine shop has a diamond cutting wheel that's an ultra fine RA rating. MLS gaskets require a very smooth finish to seal correctly. if the deck the head with a standard cutting wheel it will be worse than it was before you started. also shave as little as possible so cam timing stays correct
