Like the title says spring break for the Fort wayne area is at the end of March through the first of April. I will taking my car from Fort Wayne Indiana to South Padre Texas in hopefully a straight through trip. I have already have a pretty good list of things that i should do. It has 201000 miles on it so im inda weary about making it the whole way, so please help and tell me what to do to make it there

oil change(of course)
new tires
turn brake rotors.
get an alignment
replace driver side cv axle (passenger side is good to go)

the dizzy is new and so is the alternator so those should not a problem

what else should be done. PLEASE add to my list

If you feel the need... just give it a basic tune up.
Plugs, dist rotor, air filter, fuel filter. Check coolant, washer fluid, fuel level.

Cars are built to handle what you're going to do.

yea i was going to do that, i just replace the dizzy rotor about 2 months ago, and the plugs about a year ago and I have a CAI so ill just wash that out.

what about the timing belt? is there a way to check that because i do not want to place it if i dont have to, this motor is coming out when i get back.

im gone 13 hrs to oregon! im just going to do an oil change..check all the fluid levels.

good to see im not the only going long distances in my DA. how many miles on the motor?
