B20v All motor street/track car build
Hi there, my name is Mitch, I'm from Canada and I thought I could share my build. My English isn't perfect, I'm sorry if I make mistake
It's my first modded car and I want to make everything perfect. I'll try to post the best pictures I can but a lot of them are from the shop building it.
The beginning :
Long short story. Summer 2016 I bought an CW Integra GS 99 with a JDM front clip. It had a ''Built'' B18c Type R 1999 with a J4D tranny.
About 2 month after I bought it, the engine began to drink a lot of oïl. It had only about 10 000km since the rebuilt by the previous owner... It had dead missmatch coilovers.
End of summer 2016 :
I got the B18c out and start to part it out and find out why it was drinking all that oil. It had a cheap *** tune. It was running way too rich and ring stay closed on pistons #1. Clutch was not good enough to keep it.
I went to a shop and talk about my plan for that car, I want something reliable with more power and track it.
Parts I keep from my B18c :
3 of 4 Manley rods, one of them had was chipped in journal so I ordered a brand new one
Crankshaft, and other stuff like alternator and Vtec selenoid.
The new engine : Final CR should be around 11.75. I can't run a lot more since I only have 91oct.
Bottom end:
core B20b witth Cylinder Support system by 819 Racing

Re: B20v All motor street/track car build
I have tried to buy for my Honda and don't know where to find cheap parts.
What do you think about buying from wrecks to get the parts needed and maybe sell the rest of the parts?
Where did you bought them?

I bought a lot of them at 819 Racing and to people on honda facebook pages.
If you can find good parts at wrecks for decent price that's a great idea. Here mainly thing you find in wrecks are honda with D series I don't know about UK's.
There's JDM shop too,
Here's a better picture of my p1
My black Recaro

Very nice! So with the b18c rods and crank, but b20 deck height, does anything need to be done? Slight lower, custom compression height pistons?

Re: B20v All motor street/track car build
Unfortunatly, my car won't run this season, Winter is coming slowy so I'm preparing my stuff to be ready for next season.
Rear ep3 calipers conversion with arms (because I want to swap the stock teg disk conversion on my daily).
Front ITR calipers with mini non-S 280mm disk
Harmonic Induction 3.5'' CAI
ID 750cc injectors
S2 Alpha V1 Headers
Engine assembly
Engine assembly is done. Do you want pics ?
