B20b gsr trans stuck in gear help!!!
Hey guys so I have a problem I can’t figure out. I have 94 integra 5speed. It had an LS transmission before which I blew. I bought a gsr transmission that’s now installed. It seems like it’s stuck in 4th and reverse at the same time. I replaced the shift linkage and put a whole new clutch kit. Now when I turn the car on, the shifter is in neutral but when I try to let go of the clutch pedal, it starts burning the clutch and it won’t go into neutral or any other gear. I’m at a total loss and I can’t figure it out. Please help it’s my daily to work everyday!! Thank you in advance!

Hopefully you installed the tranny properly or you can damage that new clutch. I also hope you tested the tranny by going through all the gears before you bought it.

Does the shifter click into each gear normally with the car off? If you're sure it's installed properly then the problem is likely inside the transmission case.
Next time you buy a transmission put the selector in neutral and spin the input shaft by hand, you should be able to hold the diff steady with your other hand. Then go through each gear making doing the same thing, making sure each gear works smoothly and reverse works.
