Cali is cracking down... hazw8st problobly lost his smog license.


Also, Cali is cracking down on diesels, they will also need to be smogged... I work for the City, and we had to buy a catalitic (sp) converter for all the diesels. (They cost $15,000 a piece.)

Its possible, If the smog guy just pops the hood and sees the valve cover and the car is a LS/GS... I would say the % of us in Cali with swaps is...

10% Barred for the engine thats in the car

35% Have a illegal swap, but will pass the sniffer

5% have a legit bard swap, that have parts that won't pass smog

50% have a swap thats illegal, won't pass BAR/sniffer
