b18c swap CEL code 23
 
first off i have searched, and came up with many answers, im still not sure what to do :cry:

i just recently swapped in the b18c from my wrecked car (damaged rear) to my new car, im using the same engine, engine harness and ecu from the wrecked, it had no cel, but now its showing up when i swapped it, the car runs fine, just not as much torque as before, im guessing its the cel

CEL code 23 KNCOK SENSOR

i checked the sensor its pluged in right

wrecked car was a 94 ls swapped jdm b18c
new car is 94 gsr sedan

p73 ecu jdm

any help is apreciated

it actually on/off, but when its off the car has alot more power, im starting to think its the wire?

another thing, vtec kicks in with the CEL but has no low rpm power, but when its off it has lower end power and no vtec, WHATS WRONG?!?!??!

id try replacing the knock sensor and un hooking the battery for a few minutes to reset the ecu / or u could always get a chipped p28 ecu with knock sensor disabled

found the problem, the engine harness pin was not in the correct pin for the chassis harness


hope this helps for future purposes

im having similar issue, wat do u mean engine harness pin was not in correct pin for the chassis harness???
