new teg ton of pics.
1996 integra Ls stock b18b1.
Just done the following. New clutch slave and brake master cylinder. New fluids all around. Flushed coolant, new oil, new tranny fluid, new brake fluid, new fuel filter, new plugs and plug wires, new valve cover gasket and cam seal. Painted the valve cover and cleaned the bay up some. Put a new CD player in it. Wired up a kill switch. Installed red LEDs for the dash lights.
Ordered - new OEM shifter with new bearings bushings and dust boot. New DC style floor mats. New steering wheel cover. New weighted shift **** and shift boot. Mugen style front lip.
Only issue I am having is during idle it just feels weird in my feet. Idle doesn't linger and I have cleaned the iacv. It just feels rough. Plan to do motor mounts soon but I don't think its vibration. Anything else I can clean or replace? Will keep up to date as I build on the car and clean it up. Will finish plastidipping the car as I know some people hate it but I like it. Any comments suggestions or critique in general is appreciated.
Before!!
A few things later.

They sell it at Lowes. Nice satin look. If done right will hold up well.

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Have did everything in this thread minus checking the timing (which is doesn't sound or feel bad enough to be a timing issue) plan to replace the dizzy cap and rotor, remove the intake and throttle body. Clean both and new gaskets. Check all lines I can visually inspect while I have all that off and replace what's nessacarry. Also going to remove and clean the map sensor. Hopefully tomorrow if all this snow has melted.

Re: new teg ton of pics.
replace the interior !!! the tan should have never been invented lol makes it look like an old caddy or something. As for mount Hasport makes great one the 62A stiffness causes no vibration from what I hear, I have the 85A's thing is annoying as hell at idle.

Re: new teg ton of pics.
-have the wheels re-balanced and tell them to put the balance weights on the inner barrels
-junk the steering wheel cover
-cancel the mugen-style lip order (get an oem si-vtec lip,97 type-r,or real mugen lip)
-power folding mirrors
-use amber bulbs instead of red
-i dont like the plasti-dip ****
these are things i would probably do..anyways,good luck with it..

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Folding mirrors are pointless. Preferred the lip I ordered over the 8 others I looked at. I like the plastidip. Have sprayed a few cars prior to this one. I prefer the red over the amber. Considered the s2k gauge cluster conversion if I ever see one for cheap.
I don't dislike the tan interior but I will eventually convert to black as I acquire parts over time. When I have the $ I will junk the cover and get a good quick release and nice wheel.

- agreed, steering wheel covers FTL
- agreed >>> I hate when people rock the front lip designed for another front bumper car (i.e. 99-00 Mugen Civic front lip looks retarded on any other bumper IMHO) Si-vtec or ITR are the only lips that look good on the 94-97 front end IMHO
- i guess? that seems pretty situational… they fold and having power folding would be nice touch but rather put the money else where 1st
- blah
- just learned of this from OP's thread >> actually rather interesting and can look good when done with time/patience. Fun DYI and car altering look w/out spending the money at a paint shop — best part seems to be to juss peel it off if your over it or want to change it out. Good ideal for fickle folks

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Oh that battery holder is sexy.
And yes you can peel plastidip off IF you lay it on thick as in 6+ coats which I would recommend doing regardless. If you go all out and order it by the gallon don't get the kit with the bullshit sprayer get your own sprayer and compressor and clean the gun between coats.
If you prep and primer first then take your time it can turn out very nice. Holds up well on rims and you can use something like airplane remover to get it off of tight spots.

Also if you read their website they note do not use rustoleom primer. It is not compatiable with plastidip and will cause it to peel. Any surface area larger then 2x2 should be primered before plastidipping. Its a good addition if you like the black hood look as well on a different color car and if you hate it. Peel it off.

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Picking up a new dizzy cap and rotor, Intake Manny gasket and tb gasket. Going to clean the **** out of them. Maybe the im or tb is leaking air or the tb plate is sticking. Or the rotor or cap is slowly shitting out. Idk. We will see.

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Idk if you'll find that boot at NAPA. www.bernardiparts.com or go to the dealer. I forget what the exact name of it is...but you ca find the name and part number on the bernardiparts.com site.
A new battery probably won't cure your idle vibration. Hasport mounts will make it vibrate more. 62A is soft for polyurethane mounts....but it's harder than the stock swiss cheese rubber mounts.

That thing is done ! looks like mine after the trans to t-bracket bolts fell-out and all the forward/backwards movement was put on the mounts.

How do you tell if its bad? Is that entire circle suppose to be rubber?
The job wasn't hard at all. Worst part was the two bottom middle bolts holding the intake to the head. I used a crows foot wrench and got them off. I have to drive it in the morning so I will do the mount later all in all now I can probably remove and replace the intake in or around 2 hours.
Yes and no. It mainly moves with letting off throttle.
Throttle body was gross. So was the intake. Got then the best I could with carb cleaner.
Can the intake be tanked or cleaned in some way?

Re: new teg ton of pics.
Scared myself. From spraying wd40 and liquid wrenched all over the exhaust b pipe to try and remove it for the shifter (which was a fail, b pipe bolts are stuck for life) my entire car turned into a smoke show. Lol. I thought it was on fire + being dark it was even harder to tell. Nearly **** myself.
