Default B18B integra LS stock exhaust pipe diameter?

So i'm swapping a B18B into my '99 civic and i want to do it right. I'd like to emulate, or maybe go a little bit higher than the stock exhaust that the integra LS was designed for.

What's the piping diameter on a '97-'01-ish integra LS?

Man 2'-2.5' diameter... thats one big exhaust... but anyway back on topic... when I swapped out my LS cat back im pretty sure the factory exhaust pipe diameter is 2". If anything a little smaller.

the stock LS exhaust piping is 1.91 - 2.0 but i would go get a exhaust that is 2.25 or maybe 2.5 but its up to your plans on this motor....

most aftermarket exhausts are 2.25-2.36'' anyways so it doesnt really matter. only a handful are 2.5-3''.

Does anyone know what the outside diameter is on the exhaust pipe just to the rear of the resonator on a 1991 acura integra LS model?

I am really getting theee run around on this from these parts companies. I want to keep everything OE. Does anyone know who made the catalytic converter for the 1991 acura integra LS model. And parts numbers for the front gasket and back gasket for this catalytic
converter? Thank god for this website for accurate info!

About the donut (front side of cat) and gasket (rear side of cat)...go to Advance Auto, or any chain store auto parts store.

About buying an OEM Cat...$700, but they will last 15 years.
Mostly, aftermarket Cats...$225-300, only last 7 to 18 months.

The inside diameter of the "B" pipe is 1 7/8"

thanks safedriver for your input. I will be replacing both the front and back gaskets on the cat for the 1991 acura integra LS model. Are the gaskets identical or different. I am getting two different stories.

I need to take out the battery tray on my 1991 acura integra LS model. Does it just unbolt or is it welded in?

The front gasket is (very thick) shaped like a donut and the rear gasket is thin, like (a metal wrapped) cardboard.

I don't know about your battery tray.

Sankei.

But they do not make the original converter anymore, and have not for many years. Aftermarket is your only option.

Different. You've never been under your own car, have you?

The FRONT is a flat gasket, solidly bolted to the A-pipe. The REAR is dished, or spherical. The spherical profile allows the mid-pipe to swivel like a ball-joint so as to relieve flexing stresses on the system.

Magnaflow makes a stock cat and a cheaper universal one.Just look up your car on their page for a part # then buy the part # off ebay.Magnaflow ones last about 100,000 - 150,000 miles.I use them as a courier and I drive 70- 80,000 miles a year for work.
