cool thanks.. i live in cali so reason why i want it is cause i heard that any b18 swap can go into integra and doesn't have to be bar'd cause it is b18 and i have an ej so i don't want to go with the hassle of gettin a ls non vtec and go ls vtec with it. i don't mind but its the gettin my car bar'd that i don't like. lol..

I'm 90% sure you will still need to bar it in CA. But it is a USDM engine so it shouldn't be a problem.

if I were in your situation I would bar it before putting the b16 head on there. because they will look at the block, which if it is USDM will say B18C1, and then the head would say p30 or pr3 or something instead of p72.

But hey maybe I am wrong and you don't need to bar it, check this thread out on G2IC.

The PR3 (B16) head will lower the compression of your B18C1. Get the Skunk2 or Blox IM. Check for your golden CARB certification.

In reality, the IM is not what you need at this point. Cams will provide more bang for the buck. I still run the stock B18C1 IM.

If you seperate the internals, the ITR and GSR block are identical. Oh heck, even the CTR block is the same.

ITR and GSR have identical rod lengths and strokes. Where are you getting your information?
